EMILY TAGGART - DIRECTOR / MANAGER / RIDER

Emily is the new manager at Denbies livery, previously run by Lisa Potter. Emily's experience ranges from working in livery yards at a young age through to working for a national event rider in Australia as a working pupil and Head girl. Having established herself in the IT industry for 13 years a change of direction has finally come about.

Emily will continue to grow and develop Denbies into a top class livery yard as well as concentrate on her eventing career.

HEAD GIRL - CHARLY SAMSON

Charly previously worked for Lisa at Denbies for nearly three years and took up the position of head girl in October 2009. She remains as head girl and will play a vital role heading up the team at Denbies.

Charly competes horses on behalf of their owners and her successes include qualifying a livery horse for the Royal International Horse Show. Her ambition for the future is to run her own yard, and in the meantime she is enjoying learning as much as possible about the running of a livery yard.

In addition to her duties as head girl Charly is responsible for carrying out the preliminary ground work with the young horses overseeing the long reigning, lunging and ensuring the horses have a solid start to their future.

WORKING PUPIL - MIA WATTS

Mia joined Denbies in June 2010 as a working pupil, having passed her BHS Stage 2 Horse care and management and Riding. She realised that being in a working environment would benefit her more and give her a head start eventing

Mia has her own horse stabled at Denbies whom she currently competes British Dressage. She hopes to learn as much as possible with regards to the running of a successful livery yard whilst also gaining experience as a groom and competing her own horses and others if the opportunity should arise. She is hardworking and has a desire to succeed, a real asset to the team.
